Evolving materials innovation
SSEC Energy International Co., Limited was incorporated in Hong Kong on 10 September 2014 and became the holding company for the Solid State Energy Corporation. Originally formed as the Solid State Energy Corporation in 2008 as a research initiative based at the Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, China, the Solid State Energy Corporation was spun out of the Tsinghua University under the guidance of Mr. Min Tsai, the current CEO, and founder Dr. Kwok Chung Yin.
In the years leading up to Solid State Energy Corporation's formation, the founders successfully secured funding to establish a centre for excellence in combinatorial sciences at the Tsinghua University. Much of the funding was used to develop and install infrastructure and equipment that reflected breakthroughs in the automated processes used to develop materials.
In 2014 SSEC Energy International Co., Limited ("SSEC Energy") was incorporated in Hong Kong as the international holding company for Solid State Energy Corporation.
Growth through performance
The company's growth has been fueled thorough the generated cash-flow of continuing operations and through a preliminary round of venture capital funding. The company is currently positioned to capitalize on the rapid increase in demand for it's services and will enter into a second round of venture capital funding to finance development.
Since inception in 2014, SSEC Energy has continued to reshape the battery world. Under it's current state, battery technology has not progressed quickly or substantially enough to meet the worlds ever demanding needs, SSEC Energy is working to change that.
SSEC Energy has maintained its position as an innovative leader by constantly improving the research and development of its primary technologies; Graphene Li-battery , Solid-State, Platinum Free fuel-cells and Storage Alloys.
